Our lovely warm and light village hall was opened in December 2009 and is available for booking: mornings (9am to 1pm), afternoons (2pm to 6pm,) and evenings (7pm to 11pm) every day.

Regular events are held at the hall, organised by the Events Commitee, and include Quiz Nights, Bingo, Pumpkin Carving and Bring-a-Plate Lunches to celebrate various world events.

How to find the Hall
The Hall is at the end of Lower Mead off the B4348 Hardwicke Road.
From Hay, Lower Mead is the first turning on the left after entering England. Travelling in to Hay, it is the second turning right after passing the Cusop 30 mph limit sign.

The kitchen has a fridge, a microwave/grill and a hot tray but no hob or oven. There are also ample cups, saucers, bowls, plates, glasses, jugs, cutlery, kettles, teapots, etc. 
 
There is a pull down screen and projector stand for slide or powerpoint presentations as well as a flip chart easel.
 
Premises license includes:
Plays & films
Indoor sporting events
Live/recorded music
Performance of dance (or similar)
Making music, dancing (or similar).
 
Please note, the hall is not licensed for the sale of alcohol.
The hall is available for booking from 9am to 11pm every day.
 
Outside there is a good sized grass area and a paved patio. The patio catches any afternoon or evening sunshine and has 5 large picnic benches.

A purpose-made marquee is available for hire which can be either fitted to the side of the hall or erected free-standing; it more than doubles the hall's capacity.
